Using Earnnest - Application FAQ's

Below is an ongoing list of the FAQ's regarding the general use of the Earnnest Digital Earnest Payment Software that is now available in the Coordinator Application.

Common Questions

  • What if I already have an account with Earnnest? Can I still use the integration available in the Coordinator Application”?

    • 100% Yes! If fact we are asking all app users that already have an account with Earnnest, to initiate their earnest payment requests from within the Application.
      • This will allow Transactly & Earnnest to track how many payment requests have been submitted through out integration.
      • Since you have already used the Earnnest Software, your escrow holder will be available in the selection process

      • Since your account is linked to your email address, as long as your email address from Transactly matches what you have setup on Earnnest’s Application, you can still track/monitor the status of each request from your Earnnest Account after it is initiated from the Coordinator Application.

  • What if I don’t have an account on Earnnest?
      • No need to worry at all. Just follow it instructions on the platform to create an account. When asked which type of account you need, choose Register as an Agent. (Not Business)
        • You will enter your Transactly Email Address
        • You will enter your First Name
        • You will enter your Last Name
        • You will enter your Phone Number
      • When you click “Create” you will be emailed a verification code
        • Enter that code when prompted and your account is now setup.
  • Do I need a Password?
    • Nope. Once your account is setup, to access the Earnnest Application within the Coordinator Application, you will just need your email address and use the verification code sent your inbox when prompted.
  • How often will I have to use the Verification Code?
    • You will remain logged in until your session has expired, you have cleared your cache, cleared your cookies, or logged out of the application.
    • When you first access the application and initiate the request earnest payment, you will be asked to enter your email address, get the verification code, and enter it on the screen when prompted.
  • Will the Deposit Receipt be emailed to my Transactly Email Address?
    • Unfortunately, no. The process for whom is notified through Earnnest is the same regardless of where the request originated from, our application or their application.
    • The requestor will still receive the deposit authorization email but not the Deposit Receipt.
    • The Buyer and the Escrow Holder will receive the Deposit Receipt via email.
  • What about Proof of Intent?
    • If you would like a proof of intent before the buyer pays, you can download it here to keep on file. In the web-based desktop app, click “Email me Proof of Intent” in your property card.
  • Can I track the status of the request in the Coordinator Application?
    • Not currently. To track the status of the request, users are encouraged to sign into the Earnnest Application on the web or through their mobile device.
    • Longer term, Transactly intends to leverage the webhooks available from Earnnest to track all requests made from within the application.
    • Currently, we suggest logging into the Earnnest Application directly to monitor the status of your requests.

  • What if the Escrow Holder I want to use is not available?
    • While Earnnest has thousands of Escrow Holders already signed up and active in their platform, we cannot guarantee your preferred vendor will be.
    • Our integration allows the user to invite their preferred escrow holder to the Earnnest Application with a quick click of the mouse and after entering a few short details.
      • Once your preferred escrow vendor is invited to the Earnnest Application, they will receive and email with the registration instructions.
      • Once completed by the escrow vendor, they will be forever available in the “Select Escrow Holder” selection box and ready to accept the digital payments.
    • NOTE: We highly encourage our application users to get their preferred vendors registered and leveraging the Earnnest Earnest Payment process. The more we build up the network, the better the network becomes for everyone.
  • What if I have a question, who should I reach out to?
    • Questions arise all the time so do not hesitate to reach out for support.
      • Add you question to the tc-team slack channel for the quickest response.
